In industries with stringent cleanliness requirements such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, food, and cosmetics, cleanrooms must adhere to strict control standards for particulate matter and microbial content in the air. Hands, being the primary medium of contact with external environments during routine activities, can easily carry bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms. During procedures, hands may also produce particles or accumulate microorganisms.
By following a strict and thorough handwashing procedure, contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, and dust on the hands can be effectively reduced. This is critical for maintaining the cleanliness of cleanroom environments, meeting GMP standards, ensuring the smooth and safe procedure of production, and safeguarding product quality. Moreover, proper handwashing helps prevent cross-contamination from viruses and ensures the health and well-being of personnel. As a key aspect of clean production, the importance of handwashing cannot be ignored. Let us work together to build a protective barrier, starting with thorough handwashing in the dressing room!
